A Rochester event in mid-March will honor two simultaneous holidays.
Celebrating Pi/Pie Day is a party which combines the iconic number and delicious dessert to create an afternoon of community, fun, and prizes. Guests can participate in a contest for the chance to win one of the prizes, with the biggest being the chance to give the venue’s Operations Director a pie to the face.
All attendees have to do to win is memorize and recite enough of pi’s digits. Everyone should try for as many as possible. A slice of pie will also be available for every attendee to enjoy. Community and fitness events like this are frequently promoted through the process of flyer printing.
The venue is 125 LIVE, which is a fitness center for adults that not only focuses on physical health, but also mental health and socialization. For those who are social members of the facility, access to this event is free. For fitness members and anyone who isn’t a member, there is a small fee of $4 in order to attend. Registration is required as well, and this can be done on the 125 LIVE website. An account is necessary to complete the process, which must be done by the 12th of March.
The celebration runs between 12:00pm and 1:00pm on the 14th of March, in 125 LIVE’s River Rooms.
