A local comedian is set to perform in Rochester next month as a part of New Life’s annual Laugh For Life event.
Funnyman Daren Streblow has been local to Minnesota since childhood. He still resides in the state with his family, including his wife, as well as their four sons. With over 25 years’ experience in stand-up comedy, Streblow does family-friendly jokes, so kids should enjoy the show too. He explains on his website that he is “Nightclub Tested, Pastor Approved,” and in the past has performed on Disney Cruises as well.
This show is taking place at the locally owned venue, Rochester International Event Center, which has participated in many charitable causes over the years, including donating a total of 500,000lb of food to various charities, in addition to over $1,000,000. At spacious venues like this, there are often Signs guiding attendees to the correct place, printed with a graphic design including the performers’ names.
The event will last from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Tickets will cost $15 for seats in the VIP section, and $10 for regular general admission seats. None of the seating is assigned, so those who wish to get the best seating in their section should arrive early. The venue is located at 7333 Airport View Dr. SW. The date of the show is set to be June 18.
