A popular cartoon will bring its characters to life for a show in Rochester in early October.
Peppa Pig and her pals are bringing their fall tour to the Rochester Mayo Civic Center, with theme of the show being a camping trip. The event will be filled with music, games, surprises, dancing, and singing. Peppa will bring Daddy Pig and some school friends along for the ride, including Pedro Pony, Gerald Giraffe, and Suzy Sheep.
Kids will have a chance to meet the titular character, along with her friend Daisy, once the show is over. In order to do so, a separate meet and greet pass must be bought along with the show ticket. On the date of the event, parents who purchased the special package need to report to the Will Call space, which is located in the box office. Here, they will receive a lanyard with a tour graphic design, as well as instructions for after the concert. If the child is frightened at first, it is suggested that they move further back in the line to give them time to relax and watch other interactions. A picture will be taken in a special setting, using some pieces from the show.
The concert itself will be 60 minutes long, with that and the meetings afterwards scheduled to last from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm on October 1. Guests are encouraged to bring along cameras to capture the magic.
Tickets range from $29 to $69, with the aforementioned meet and greet/photo costing an additional $50.
