Travel can be an exciting pastime, but also be an expensive one. A New Brighton area workshop will be offering tips that can be used to lower the cost of a vacation, and in some cases, it may even be free.
The Thrifty Traveler University will teach the secrets of “travel hacking”, which is a series of strategies that can dramatically lower the cost of a trip. The organizers noted that some of the advice they will share has not been made available online, and it is suitable for both experienced savers and those who have never planned a vacation this way before.
The agenda for the day opens with a welcome at 9:00 am, and the morning program will then commence, and it will include tips for finding cheap flights, navigating airlines and also understanding credit scores. During lunch, there will be time to mix and mingle, and more presentations are scheduled for the afternoon.
Both snacks and lunch are included in the registration price, and after the main event, there will be a happy hour in Finnegans Tap Room. Corporate Gifts and other swag for this type of function can be prepared by a local printer.
This session of the Thrifty Traveler University will be offered on January 19 in the Impact Hub Minneapolis - St. Paul. The fee to register has been set at $99.
