New Brighton children enjoy puppet show

New Brighton parents looking for something to do with their little ones this fall may want to take them to a puppet show at the beginning of November.

The In the Heart of the Beast Theater Presents: Storytime is a puppet show that will feature takes on several popular fairy tales, via hand-made puppets from the team at In the Heart of the Beast Theater. Part of the event will involve allowing the children who attend to interact personally with one or more of the puppets. The goal of the show is to provide both entertainment and education surrounding puppetry and fairy tales.

Organizers who arrange children's programs like this may get some flyer printing done and place Flyers around the local area to generate interest.

The In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre is based in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area and is a non-profit group that has been established to provide art classes to children, teens and adults in the Twin Cities area and beyond. The performers are a mixed group of people from all over Minnesota, most of whom have a background in performing and/or education. In addition to giving performances, such as puppet shows, the group also put on puppet building clinics, and a summer camp for kids.

This onetime event will be taking place from 10:30 am to 11:30 am on Thursday, November 6 at RCL New Brighton Regional Branch Library, located at 400 10th St. in New Brighton.
