New Brighton to host canine-friendly event

Dog owners throughout New Brighton have already begun preparing their canine counterparts for an event taking place in September. This festival is open to everyone, and all proceeds will be used to support charitable causes.

The 2026 Goldzilla Fun Fair and Walk for Rescue has been created to provide financial support to local animal shelters. It is particularly geared towards golden retrievers, and to provide young puppies with healthy homes. This event is being sponsored by the Retrieve a Golden of the Midwest Foundation, so participants can rest assured in the knowledge that their funds will be used in transparent manner.

While the dog walk is the most popular event, additional on-site activities abound. Some examples include food trucks, retail vendors, silent auctions, paw Print painting, photo opportunities, and branded merchandise. Off-leash play is permitted, although owners must keep a close eye on their pets.

Events associated with charitable causes will frequently turn to cost-effective marketing techniques that are able to generate a considerable amount of interest. Professional flyer printing services, placing Brochures in public locations, and creating standalone websites to keep interested parties informed are all proven methods.

The 2026 Goldzilla Fun Fair and Walk for Rescue is taking place on Sunday, September 13th from 9 AM to 1 PM. All events will be hosted within Long Lake Regional Park located at 1500 Old Highway 8. While free to attend, attendees are encouraged to make donations.
