New Brighton participates in Goldy's Run

In New Brighton, runners will be ready to lace up their running shoes and head to Goldy's Run in mid-April.

Participants may choose to run the 5k, 10k, or 10-Mile or Kids Run.

The Half Marathon Challenge will be participation in both the 5k and 10-mile runs. Registration for the in-person Half Marathon Challenge will be $112.30. In-person 10-mile registration will be $91.40, 10k will be $86.18, and 5k run/ walk will be $54.83. Goldy's Gallop, a kids' run, will cost $22.17. There are also virtual 10-mile, 10k and 5k runs available for $38.84. These prices reflect fees and charges.

Race merch will include youth, women's or unisex tech T-Shirts, chip timing, finisher medals, awards and also age group ranks.

The 5k run/walk will start at 8 am, the 10k and 10- mile at 9 am and the kids run at 11 am. Kids will begin their runs at the intersection of University and Oak Street. These runs will start in waives beginning with the 8-year-olds at 11 am and continuing in 2-minute segments for ages 6 and 7, 5, 4 and 3 and under.

Proceeds will go to the M Health Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital specifically to pediatric heart disease patients.

Goldy's Run is set for Sunday, 12th April and will start at Huntington Bank Stadium, 420 SE 23rd Avenue, Minneapolis.
