Many of those here in New Brighton will be heading over to Mounds View to enjoy their 50th Festival in the Park coming this August.
A parade will step off at 6:00 pm at Hillview at Sunnyside on August 15th, and a post-parade dance party will take place in the City Hall parking lot. New this year will be Children's Entrepreneur Market. The fun will continue with a penny carnival, and a splash pad.
A Bag Toss Tournament will take place at Silver View Park, 2700 County Road 1 beginning at 10:00 am on Saturday. Silver View Park will also have the 19th annual Festival in the Park Car Show on Saturday. DJ Chuck Anthony will play tunes, and the venue will offer live music from 6:00 pm to 9:40 pm. This year's band will be Wicked Garden. Craft vendors will be selling items, and foods trucks and a beer garden will take care of the munchies and drinks. Kids will get their own foam party, games and a petting zoo. Everyone is invited to stick around for the fireworks at dusk.

The 2025 Mounds View Festival in the Park will take place Friday, August 15th from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at City Hall Park, 2401 Mounds Views Boulevard, and August 16th from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm at Silver View Park, Mounds View.
