A community fair will be held this July in Grand Rapids.
The Downtown Art Fair is an outdoor event that will focus on showcasing the work of local artists and craftspeople. It is an initiative by the McRosie Art Center, and it aims to connect the local art community with potential audiences throughout the region, with a celebration of artists’ work.
Patrons can look forward to a fun and entertaining evening. The event does not allow pieces from imported goods or items made from kits. All work must be an original either by the exhibitor or their close family members.
Artists who wish to participate must first submit an application with the organizers through email. Newcomer applications must also have supporting images; a full list of the requirements is available on the event’s website. Vendors looking to register should also note that a sales tax number is mandatory for all Minnesota vendors, and that exhibitors must accept full liability for the insurance of their products.
The cost for exhibitors is $80 per 10x10 booth. Although priority application ended in April, the organizers say they will still place vendors if space allows. Graphic design can be great for creating material when participating in events like this.
This event happens on July at the Old Central School grounds, which is located at 10 NW 5th Street, Grand Rapids, Minnesota. It begins at 9:00 am and ends at 4:00 pm.
