Grand Rapids puts on holiday event

The Reif Performing Arts Center will host a Santa’s Village in Grand Rapids this December.

The Santa’s Village will be a holiday-themed shopping experience aimed at giving children the option to pick out one special gift for a loved one. Children must first obtain a ticket in order to be eligible for this. As children choose their gifts, parents or guardians may enjoy a cup of coffee and cookie in the lobby of the Center. All gifts are wrapped in the village to keep the gift a surprise.

After choosing their gift, attendees will have the opportunity to take photos with Santa. Children may then use the craft area to turn these photos into various keepsake items, with the guidance of an adult. Other amenities at the event will include a snack bar, where children can enjoy cookies and lemonade at no additional cost. There is also an on-site tour of the Reif Stage where kids are free to explore the setup of the Reif Dance Nutcracker set and stage design. The cost for tickets will be $5 each. These are available for sale on the event listing website.

Graphic design can be a useful way to create craft items for events like this one.

This event takes place on Sunday, December 4. The Reif Center is located at 720 Northwest Conifer Drive, Grand Rapids, Minnesota. It begins at 1:00 pm and ends at 5:00 pm.
