The Forest History Center in Grand Rapids will host the Winter Adventure Family Fun Day this February to provide an exciting winter outdoor experience for the whole family.
As a part of Minnesota Historical Society’s historic sites, the Forest History Center is an interactive center of indoor and outdoor exhibits showcasing the past, present, and future of Minnesota’s northern forests. The center encompasses nature trails, exhibits, events, and historic sites to explore the varied stores of lumberjacks, forestmen, and everyday people living their lives in the north woods.
The Winter Adventure Family Fun Day will be a celebration of winter activities that the whole family can enjoy. The center will offer sled riding, horse-drawn sleigh rides, snow snake racing, and tomahawk throwing, plus other thrilling activities. The nature trails will be open for fat-tire biking, skiing, and snowshoeing. Attendees will also be able to explore the educational exhibits that the center features.
Seasonal festivals and events like this are often advertised through Flyers that organizers can distribute in places that receive a lot of foot traffic. Local Print shops offering flyer printing may appeal to organizers considering such advertising.
The Forest History Center’s Family Fun Day will take place on February 22 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The center is located at 2609 County Road 76.
