A live performance will be held in Grand Rapids this June.
Called Fairytales on Ice, a series of performances is set to take place throughout the winter season. Patrons can look forward to action from classic fairy tale characters such as Cinderella and Rapunzel. The stories will all be performed through ice skating.
This staging of the show will have appearances from Cinderella and from Peter Pan. Both stories follow their original versions, but with their own creative twist. Attendees can look forward to jumps, flips and spins - all done to an original soundtrack.
The event is hosted by the Reif Performing Arts Center, which is a local hub for the visual and performing arts in Grand Rapids. The Center's mission is to provide a space that functions as a creative outlet for locally based artists, offering facilities such as an art gallery and theaters to the local community.
The cost for entry to this event is $29 for adults, while children's tickets cost $15. Tickets may be purchased on the Reif Center website.
Print shops can be an inventive way to get props and designs for the stage at events such as these.
Fairytales on Ice will be held on Thursday, March 31, starting at 6:00 pm. The Reif Center is at 720 NW Conifer Drive in Grand Rapids.
