A buffet dinner and fundraiser will be held in Grand Rapids this April.
The event, “Home is Where the Heart Is,” aims to benefit the Grace House of Itasca County. This is a local shelter that provides a place for Grand Rapids residents who have lost their homes due to unfortunate circumstances. Guests may remain for a period lasting up to 30 days. During this time, the House provides them with access to community resources and self-improvement initiatives such as mental health services, goal setting, and job searching.
Individual tickets include access to a prime rib buffet, silent and live auctions, door prizes, and raffle drawings. There will also be live music by The Northern Lights band. The event was previously postponed from its original date.
Tickets will be $60 per person until April 14, after which individual ticket prices will be $65. Tickets may be purchased on the event's website. They are also available for purchase at locations such as the Timberlake Lodge, the local SuperOne Store, and Grace House.
