Grand Rapids festival celebrates creativity and community

Next month, the MacRostie Art Center in Grand Rapids will hold its summer annual Downtown Art Fair to showcase the creative talents of the town while also connecting the community.

The MacRostie Art Center is a community art center whose mission is to provide equal access to the tools, resources, and avenues for everyone to realize their creative potential. The center holds various art exhibitions, creative workshops, and special events revolving around art and artistic expression.

The fair will feature over 40 regional artists displaying and selling their works, which range from pottery and woodworking to painting and photography, plus many other mediums in between. There will also be art-related activities for patrons of all ages underneath the MAC tent. A book sale will be held by Friends of the Grand Rapids Area Library, and there will also be live musical performances by various local musicians. A raffle will be held to raise money for the MacRostie Art Center.

Fairs like this are often advertised in Flyers that can be distributed in the community. Organizers needing to Print in bulk may decide to visit local Print shops that specialize in bulk flyer printing services.

The free art fair is slated for July 13 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. It will be held on the Old Central School Grounds, located at 10 NW 5th Street.
