Fairmont will once again be the location for a week of summertime fun, and everyone is invited to join in the celebration.
The Martin County Fair is set to return for another year, and just as in the past it, will be bringing together rides, entertainment, games and amusements, livestock and produce exhibits and shows, competitions, and many other activities. A full schedule has been planned, and the location for these seven days of excitement will be the Martin County Fairgrounds, which are situated at 1300 Bixby Road.
The Band Perry and Keith Urban will be just some of the entertainers that will be performing during the fair, and there will also be a Family Fun Shows Midway. An assortment of livestock will be on display in the animal shows, local businesses will have booths set up and both a lumberjack and Great Lakes Timber show are also on the agenda. Area performers will be offered a chance to participate in the talent show, and car buffs can visit the Fairmont Raceway to take in one of the races.
