Fairmont summers may be perfect for spending time on the water, and a local event will put some of the area's vintage watercraft on full display.
The first Fairmont Classic and Vintage Boat Show and Lakeside Village Market is right around the corner. At least 30 boats will be included, and awards will be presented.
The entries will represent an assortment of types of watercraft, with everything from vintage boats with outboard motors to row boats, and awards will be presented in three categories. They will all pre-date 1988, and the prize presentations will take place at 3:00 pm.
The boat show will be paired with a pop-up market providing the chance to shop for an assortment of vintage and classic goods. Music will be playing, and food trucks have been invited to set up shop. Activities for families are in the works, and the deadline to register for the Show or Market is July 31.
Vehicle shows often attract gearheads who are proud to be able to show off their pride and joy. Printers can offer Logo Design services, and this branding can be incorporated into the Banners, Flyers, and Promotional Products prepared for the occasion.
The inaugural Fairmont Classic and Vintage Boat Show and Lakeside Vintage Market will both open at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 22. The Marina Lodge Lakeside Pub will be the venue for the day.
