Young ladies from Fairmont are welcome to be part of an evening of activities that will help them discover what the organization is all about and whether or not they would like to join in the fun.
Both women and girls are encouraged to participate in this event, as it will offer details that may be of interest to any age. It will be organized in Fairmont Elementary School’s Budd Room, and will kick off at 5:45 pm.
A troop leader will be on site to meet with the attendees, provide details about the organization and answer questions from the public. Those who would like to register for the Girl Scout Swim Team will be able to do so, and there will also be an activity that will provide an example of what the organization is all about. While the girls are discovering the fun that is available to them, the adults in the crowd can learn about becoming a troop leader or other volunteer.
The organizers explained that there will be lots of information shared during the evening, but anyone who can’t wait has been asked to contact girlscouts@girlscoutsrv.org. Many parents who come to this sort of function will have questions and ask for information, and having pamphlets from a brochure printing company on hand will make it easy to supply them with further details.
This Girl Scout information evening will be offered on May 14. All girls and women who are interested are welcome.
