Fairmont young fishers offered evening of tall fish tales

Fairmont kids who like to fish may really enjoy an activity that will take place this June on a trail between two popular local lakes, and while it is free to register, spaces are limited.

The Fishing on Hobo Trail event will see two anglers treat young fishers to an evening of laughs. They will be telling some tall fish tales, and parents are welcome to remain on site as well.

The participants will be casting their lines and hoping to land a big one, and as the registration process will be completed in advance, there will be plenty of bait available for the anglers. Harry Brumbaugh and Tony Rosener will be the hosts for the gathering, and they have over a decade of stories saved up. Everyone is reminded to bring their poles and other fishing gear. The function will run for two hours, and sign-up will be accepted until May 30.

Fishing and other outdoor activities give families a chance to enjoy some fun together with the fresh air. Flyers can prove to be cost-effective tools for marketing an event, and they can be prepared by flyer printing companies.

This evening of fishing and making new friends will begin at 6:00 pm on Thursday, June 6. It will take place on the Hobo Trail between George and Sisseton lakes.
