Many homes are decorated with colorful wreaths during the holiday season, and in Fairmont, locals will be able to learn how to craft one of these decor items all on their own.
The staff at Smith’s Greenhouse have organized a wreath making class for beginners, and its registration fee is $25. Those ages 12 and up can attend the workshop, but minors will need to be accompanied by an adult.
The learners in the class will be using balsam fir boughs and other materials in their projects, and they will be introduced to the use of a wreath machine as part of their learning. This makes crafting these pieces of decor a lot easier than doing so by hand. Gloves and clippers are recommended, and additional accessories such as bows and picks will be available for purchase on site if desired. Questions about the activity can be directed to the planners at 507-235-6986.
Hands-on craft classes can teach useful skills when guests have fun. A flyer printing class will have an assortment of ways on offer to let the public know when a workshop or other activity is taking place near them.
Fairmont-Smith's Greenhouse has made arrangements to offer this in-person activity on Saturday, November 19. Everyone who registers is asked to arrive by no later than 9:00 am.
