A decorative display can often be the final touch to preparing a home for the holiday season, so an upcoming workshop will be teaching Fairmont residents how to prepare a spruce pot planter.
Smith’s Greenhouse will be the venue for a class that will walk its registrants through the steps of preparing a decorative planter pot. While the workshop is open to any age, children 12 and under must attend with an adult. Everyone is asked to bring a small pair of clippers or secateurs from home if they have them.
Those who are interested can choose to bring a container from home or use one provided to them, and there will be additional greenery and other design elements provided for an additional fee. There will be two dates on offer, meaning there are two different ticket options for interested individuals to choose from. At the workshop, there will be a facilitator on hand to provide additional instructional support.
A crafting class gives members of the public a chance to pick up a new skill and have fun doing so. Stationery printers can prepare Copies of plant care instructions and other materials to distribute to the attendees.
Smith’s Greenhouse, located at 407 East 12th Street in Fairmont, will be offering this holiday themed workshop on Saturday, November 11th and Saturday, November 18th. There are both 11:00am and 1:00pm start times on offer.Get a Free Quote for Stationery Get a Free Quote for Copies
