According to First Children’s Finance, Fairmont is currently experiencing a shortage of slots for families that require full-time childcare, and it is seeking input from the public to help find innovative solutions to this predicament.
The town hall meeting will give members of the public an opportunity to have their say about the shortfall of full-time childcare spaces, which the planners of the function note currently sits at 81 slots in Fairmont alone. A team has been stood up that is investigating this issue, and it is interested in hearing from local families.
The free event will include a dinner service, and the attendees will have a chance to learn about how the shortage of childcare spaces is impacting rural communities. After this, they will be invited to share their views, all with a goal of finding innovative and practical solutions that can easily be actioned.
To help provide even more information to the people who attend an event like this, the organizers can work with local Print shops. The printer can supply Brochures and other handouts as well as Posters and other large-sized visual items.
Fairmont’s Holiday Inn, which can be found at 1201 Torgerson Drive, will be hosting this community function on Tuesday, November 13. It will be located in the venue’s Main Ballroom.
