Fairmont plans late August fun fair

A program that encourages youth environmental stewardship will be the host for a day that will be all about having a great time.

The Martin County Pheasants Forever Youth Conservation Day will be popping up at the Martin County Fairgrounds, and this Fairmont celebration will be full of kid-friendly fun. It will welcome the public for four hours, and it has been scheduled so that it takes advantage of the late summer weather. However, it will take place rain or shine.

Those who come to the festivities will be invited to try their hand at some arts and crafts, and while they do, they will learn about pollinators and why they are important. Everyone can go for a bounce in one of the inflatables that will be on site, and pony rides will be on offer as well. Food will be served for as long as supplies last.

A fun fair can be a good choice for a grassroots-level fundraiser, as they often attract a lot of community attention. A poster printing company will be able to prepare materials that effectively market a function throughout its target area.

The Martin County Pheasants Forever Youth Conservation Day will be giving Fairmont kids a chance to learn how much fun caring for the environment can be on August 26th. It will kick off at 10:00 am.
