Families will be enjoying a day of fun in early August, thanks to the efforts of the Martin County Library branch located at 110 North Park Street.
This community institution will be making the most of an August Wednesday by hosting its Summer Shindig. The activity has been made possible thanks to support from the Traverse des Sioux Library, and its agenda is full of active, festive fun.
The activity, which will welcome the public for three hours, will offer a petting zoo as well as pony rides for the kids, and live music will be performed for the enjoyment of one and all. Food trucks will be parked on site so the crowd can choose their lunch selections, and pizza, BBQ, dessert, and coffee are all on the menu. All ages are welcome to participate in the celebration.
