Fairmont course to introduce scuba diving
Fairmont residents who have always wanted to learn how to scuba dive will soon be able to do so when they register for a class on offer in their home area.
The schedule for the PADI Open Water Scuba Diving course includes both in the classroom and in the water training, and the time will be split between the Southern MN Educational Campus and Lake Crystal Pool. There will be a series of four classes, and the listing explained that it is suitable for those age 10 and up.
The course will introduce learners to scuba diving and the equipment used by those who engage in the practice. There will be approximately 10 hours of classroom instruction and 10 hours in the water, and the textbook and other learning materials are included in the tuition price. Anyone who would like to make arrangements to obtain their open water certification will be able to do so.
The registration fee to be included in this activity is $225.00, and it will close on October 4th. Manuals and other learning materials for a class or course can be ordered from stationery printers in the local area.
