The Fairmont Area Chamber of Commerce wants to help local students reach their academic goals, and it has created a scholarship program to financially help them on their way.
The 2023 summer application period for the Business Scholarship offered by the Chamber is now open, and it will see the selected scholar receive $1,000 to put towards their studies. The application form can be picked up by visiting the Chamber's offices, and they may also be found online for anyone who prefers to use that method to apply.
This financial award is given to a student entering their final year in a business-related program at a technical college or a business student in their junior or senior years at a four-year institution. They will be asked to submit their grades for review, and they will need to have at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. It is available to scholars residing in Martin County.
Scholarship programs often reward academic excellence. A printer’s graphic design team can prepare a personalized certificate to present to the recipient of a scholastic award.
