Fairmont bake sales support animals in need
The Martin County Humane Society gives animals that are abused, abandoned, or neglected a second chance, and to help fund its work, it will be offering an opportunity for members of the public to satisfy their sweet tooth.
The Society has set up a schedule of fundraising bake sales for Fairmont, with dates set for April, June, September, and November. They offer a chance to stock up on home-baked goods, and there is usually a wide assortment to choose from.
