Starting school can be an exciting time in the life of a youngster, and local families that have a child can sign them up for a program offered in Fairmont that ensures all children who register for kindergarten are well prepared.
Taking place early next month, the Early Childhood Screening (ECS) is free, and is a mandatory process for all children in the state.
Fairmont Elementary School will be offering the screening, and it will be administered on site. The testing can aid in determining if a boy or girl has any issues that may interfere with their ability to learn in a classroom, and allows early intervention programming to be put into place.
The screening session is scheduled to begin at 8:00 am and it will wrap up at 10:00 am. The Minnesota statutes have made participating in ECS before they start school, and anyone who has question or concerns can contact Fairmont Elementary School at 235-6205 for more information. Stationery printers can work with the planners of this type of occasion, and can use graphic design technique to prepare testing sheets, informational Posters and Brochures, and promotional Pens printed with the program’s Logo Design.
Friday, March 1 has been set as the date for the ECS morning. Parents or caregivers are asked to allocate two hours for the event, and the school is located at 714 Victoria Street.
