Each year, Fairmont hosts a summer celebration that attracts droves of visitors, and its organizers recently announced its dates for 2024.
The annual Martin County Fair, which is billed as being “Minnesota’s Other Big Fair,” is a popular local event that celebrates the area's agricultural heritage. It will be filled with fun for the whole family during one week in August.
While the event may still be well in the future, the organizers have already released the lineup of entertainers booked to perform, and there will also be rides, livestock shows, agricultural exhibits, and competitions. Local companies have been invited to set up business booths, and auto racing and farm equipment demonstrations have been scheduled. Foodies in the crowd can head to the pork cookoff and concession areas.
Just as in previous years, the activity will be counting on the generous spirit of local volunteers and companies, and there may be sponsorship opportunities available for businesses of almost any size.
