Pumpkin Night in the Park will take place in the Chanhassen area at Springbrook this month. The family-friendly event offers autumn fun with a bounty of pumpkins, 1,000 of which will glow.
The event offers trails for exploration, characters in costume, and a DJ who will present a dance for the children in attendance.
The community is invited to join in the fun at the pumpkin carving event. Tools and pumpkins that have been gutted and cleaned out will be provided. Carving times must be set up in advance. The dates for this activity are next Sunday to Thursday, October 17 to 21.
Print shops are often contacted to create Posters for outdoor family events. Poster printing can reflect details about the activities in vivid colors and compelling text.
The host organization, Springbrook Nature Center, is looking for volunteers. The areas in need of volunteer support including pumpkin carving managers, who will deal with supplies, information, and space setup. A sign-up sheet is available via the entity’s website. With the event taking place on Saturday, October 23, parking will be available at the RMS lot with an easy walk to the nature center. Shuttles are also available starting at the Spring Lake Park High School – the first shuttle is at 4:45 pm and the service will run through 9:15 pm. Drop-off will be directly at the Springbrook Nature Center.
