An upcoming event combines two popular activities, riding bikes and drinking beer.
Hackamore’s Brewing is the host of the upcoming Bike & Brew Ride, which begins and ends at the brewery, but with 19 miles between the start and finish. This is a group event so everyone can ride with family and friends. It also includes several stops along the way.
The day begins with breakfast at Hackamore Brewing, and then the event begins with participants riding to the first stop, Mana Brewing. The next stop is Badger Hill Brewing, and then the Shakopee Brew Hall. There is no set time for the intermediate stops, but riders should plan to be back at Hackamore by 3.15 pm.
Airborne Attraction will provide live music. The band’s set is a family-friendly collection of covers of hits by artists such as Van Morrison, Hall & Oates, Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, and Elton John. The group’s blend of eras and genres means the show is suitable for everyone.
The Bike & Brew Ride is scheduled for August 16, from 10.00 am until 3.30 pm. The ride to Mana Brewing starts at 11.00 am, and Airborne Attraction will appear at 5.30 pm. Hackamore Brewing Company is at 18651 Lake Drive East in Chanhassen. The ride is free.
Events like this can be even more fun if organizers use banner printing to create markers to indicate the course of the ride.
