The Shelby Township Summer Fest will take place later this month at the Civic Center Campus of Shelby Township.
The Summer Fest will feature two days of entertainment and fun for the entire family. Such special events benefit from poster printing that can promote them throughout a town and neighboring communities.
The festivities will begin late on a Friday with a wide range of activities that will include strolling princesses and superheroes, a magician, face painting, entertainment with a DJ, a petting zoo, and Touch-a-Truck. Connect Macomb will be sponsoring a food truck and a craft beer garden.
A Swiftie Dance Party will begin at 5:00 p.m. This will be followed by a live taping of “The Treehouse,” an award-winning Shelby Township television show, and featuring special segments such as science demonstrations. Parallel Fifth, a cover band from Detroit, will be performing on center stage at 8:30 p.m.
Festivities resume the next day from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with a presentation of the colors by the 1st Michigan Colonial Fife & Drum Corps, followed by a patriotic performance by the Macomb Symphony Orchestra. The Friends of the Shelby Township Library will be hosting a kids’ zone with an obstacle course, a 24-foot inflatable slide, and backyard games.
Summer Fest will take place on Friday, June 20 and Saturday, June 21.
