The third location of Hungry Habibi will be coming to Shelby Township.
It will be on Hayes Street in a building that was once a beauty salon. Hungry Habibi is looking forward to welcoming the community to their new location. The eatery serves Mediterranean food, wraps, and bowls that includes Arabic, Turkish, and barbecue dishes.
Brothers Wameedh and Manar Zeebaree started their chain in Fraser on Groesbeck Highway and in Shelby Township on Auburn Road serving their Mediterranean cuisine. The location us Shelby opened in November 2024 and serves combo trays, humus, and shawarma sandwiches. A featured item on the menu is the “Combo for 3” that has two skewers of chicken kafta, two skewers of beef kafta, both beef and chicken shawarma, and chicken cream chop.
The new shop of Hungry Habitat will be sharing the building on Mile Road with a location of Wing Snob. Next to the new eatery is Bubble Cream Restaurant with a Meijer gas station and grocery store across the street.
The hiring process for the establishment is in its early stages. The eatery is expected to open sometime next month.
By partnering with local Print shops, such new establishments can quickly produce high-quality promotional materials highlighting their Mediterranean wraps, bowls, and signature dishes as they prepare for their upcoming opening.
