Shelby Township will become the new location of Homescripts pharmacy, a leader across the country in providing free medications to those in need. Homescripts Pharmacy is a branch of AcariaHealth, a national pharmacy focused on improving outcomes and care for patients living with complex medical conditions.
The new pharmacy will span close to 33,000 square feet and provide space for its pharmacy and business operations as well as space for future growth and expansion. Homescripts offers medication programs led by manufacturers that include interim, bridge, replacement, and patient assistance services. These services help patients overcome barriers to accessing medications such as insurance coverage, medication costs, expiration, and theft. Staff and pharmacists at Homescripts work closely with providers and patients to manage the daily impact of their conditions so they experience improved adherence and better health.
Flyer printing is often used to provide more details about such specialty pharmacies and their benefits for residents in the community.
Jessica Ciccolella-Kahl, Chief Executive Officer of AcariaHealth, said that the company believes that investing in the communities they serve, and their employees will lead to enhancing the quality of life for people and improving their health and well-being. Ciccolella-Kahl expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to the vibrant community of Shelby Township and said the company is looking forward to creating this new facility that will support patients across the country.
