Saginaw’s McDowell Healing Arts Center is hosting an art and mindfulness event this March.
The event will include a painting lesson, a discussion about mindfulness, and time for socializing. Attendees will learn to paint a St. Patrick’s Day-themed scene with acrylic paints. All painting materials are included with the event cost.
This event is part of the McDowell Center’s healing arts series, which is designed to connect local artists and mental health experts with the larger community. The center believes that art can improve mood and self-esteem while helping people connect with one another.
Space is limited, so those planning to attend should register in advance by March 16. The event cost is $15 per person. Participants can sign up in person at the McDowell Center’s front desk or by phone. The event is suitable for adults and children aged 13 and older.
The McDowell Center offers both clinical mental health services and community events designed to improve mental health. These events include yoga classes, therapeutic dance sessions, and art and mindfulness classes for both adults and children. Organizations like this often use brochure printing services to share information about their program offerings.
Art Is Life Night will take place on Friday, March 17, 2023, from 6:15 pm to 8:00 pm, at the McDowell Healing Arts Center in Saginaw.
