Saginaw non-profit to host Derby-themed fundraiser

Hospitality House of Saginaw is hosting its annual Kentucky Derby party fundraiser this spring.

Dinner will be served all-you-can-eat style, with a large selection of Southern food options. There will be an open bar, along with a featured mint julep station, included in the ticket price. Attendees will be able to bid on silent auction items ranging from gift cards to vacation packages. Guests are encouraged to wear Derby-themed outfits, including dramatic hats, bow ties and seersucker suits. Prizes will be awarded for the best extravagant hats and bow ties. Raffles and a DJ will provide additional entertainment.

Tickets are available to purchase now. The cost is $75 per person. Those who will not be attending the event but are interested in supporting Hospitality House through the silent auction can participate online, registering on the ticket order page. Online bidding opens at noon on Monday, May 1. Organizations often work with Print shops to create programs for this type of event.

All proceeds for the event will support Hospitality House. The organization provides support services and a comfortable place to stay for patients receiving treatment at one of Saginaw’s six hospitals and their families.

The event will take place on Thursday, May 4, from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm at Horizons Conference Center in Saginaw.
