Saginaw Museum to host garden concert

The Saginaw Art Museum’s summer concert series will continue with another show this July.

July’s Museum Tunes event will feature performances from Dani Darling as well as Charles Allen and The Vibe. Darling is a psychedelic soul singer and songwriter. Allen is a lifelong singer based in the Saginaw area. Doors will open at 6 pm and the show will begin at 7 pm. The show will take place outdoors in the Art Museum’s gardens.

Concert attendees are also invited to visit the Museum’s collection, including its temporary exhibits. The event is family-friendly and open to all ages. The concert is free and pre-registration is optional. The museum asks those planning to attend to sign up online. Outside food and drinks will not be permitted. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.

Some seating will be provided, but attendees are welcome to bring their own chairs if they would like. Chairs should be kept outside to prevent possible damage to the artwork. Local museums often use flyer printing services to promote their special events. The final concert of the summer will take place the following month on August 6 with performances from Hatchwing Rider and Karissa Bone.

The next Museum Tunes event will take place on Tuesday, July 9 in the Saginaw Art Museum’s gardens starting at 6 pm.
