Dorsey College is hosting a career exportation day for prospective students this September.
Discover Dorsey Career Exploration Day events will take place at four different locations - the college’s campuses in Saginaw, Wayne, and Woodhaven, and its School of Beauty in Taylor. During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about both the college and their career options after graduation.
Attendees can tour the school, including its lab space, and meet with current students and professors. They can participate in interactive demonstrations in some of the classrooms, and can enter to win prizes and receive free giveaway items. Colleges often give out promotional Pens and other branded items to prospective students. Food will be available, and there are other fun activities planned for participants.
Prospective students and their parents can meet with representatives to learn about grant and scholarship options, as well as the financial aid application process. They can also hear from employers who have hired Dorsey graduates talk about what they look for in an applicant, and learn about high-demand career options to consider.
Those planning to attend should RSVP on Dorsey College’s website or by calling their preferred campus directly. Prospective students are welcome to attend the event at any campus, regardless of where they plan to enroll.
Discover Dorsey will take place on Saturday, September 7 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
