The Saginaw Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Network is hosting a networking scavenger hunt this January.
The Young Professionals Network (YPN) hopes to help its members become more familiar with both one another and the town of Frankenmuth during this event. Often called Michigan’s Little Bavaria, Frankenmuth is also considered the tourism capital of Saginaw County. Attendees will meet in front of Zehnder’s Tap Room to get scavenger hunt instructions and divide into teams before searching for their items throughout downtown. Items will be close together, so walks will be short.
At 6:15 pm, the group will meet up again at Zehnder’s to announce the winners and do some additional networking. Chamber of Commerce members often bring Business Cards to exchange at networking events.
The scavenger hunt is free to attend, but participants are asked to sign up in advance on the Chamber website. A large parking lot is available behind the Tap Room and meeting spot. Attendees should be aware that Zehnder’s Snowfest, a large snow and ice sculpture festival, will be taking place during the scavenger hunt, so they should expect crowds. Participants will be spending a little over an hour outside, so they should dress warmly.
The Finding Frankenmuth scavenger hunt event will take place on Thursday, January 25 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Zehnder’s of Frankenmuth.
