The annual Food Truck Faceoff will take place in Saginaw this summer.
This free event brings together a selection of local food truck businesses. Attendees can purchase food and drinks from 11 participating food trucks and vote for their favorite. At the end of the summer, there will be two People’s Choice Awards, for Best Food and Best Sweet or Dessert. There will also be a Sponsors’ Choice Award for the same two categories. Participating businesses will include Un Poco Loco Taco, Hog Heaven BBQ, Kona Ice, Travelin Tom’s Coffee, and Waffle Stix. Those interested can check the event’s website for the full list. Live music and yard games will be played throughout the evening.
The Food Truck Faceoff will take place at Jolt Credit Union Event Park. Attendees can bring blankets or lawn chairs for outdoor seating. In case of rain, covered seating will be available under the pavilion. Vendors often hand out Business Cards with their restaurant contact information to customers at this type of event. Businesses can express their interest in participating as food truck vendors by emailing info@doweventcenter.com.
There are three upcoming Food Truck Faceoff dates. The events will take place on Friday, July 8, Friday, July 29, and Thursday, August 25, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. Winners of the competition will be announced on the final day.
