The Denmark Arts Center will be holding its annual Auction Fundraiser and Year-End Celebration next month.
Such special events are often advertised throughout a region with poster printing to promote their fundraising efforts and seasonal festivities.
This will feature a quick annual meeting and many festivities. Live music will be provided by the Sky Blue Canoe band and there will be gifts to treat oneself or to give away for the holidays. STANDARD GastroPub will be providing appetizers, and National Distributors and Good Company will be providing the drinks, all of which are complimentary. This celebration is a way to thank all its attendees and supporters for a great season.
Sky Blue Canoe is a local acoustic duo that will play eclectic covers of many musical genres of folk, as well as original music, rock, country, and Americana. The duo consists of Vanessa Jones from Bridgton (who is a violinist, multi-instrumentalist, and singer-songwriter) and Jerry Adams (a vocalist, guitarist, and bass player). They plan to play some tunes of the holiday to get everyone in the spirit of the season.
There will be a silent auction as well. Among the items in the auction will be artwork from Kristen Pobatschnig, Janet Gill, and Linda Gray. There will also be baskets from Farmers Market Delights, Sherman Farms, and Weston Markets, along with jewelry, wine items, and gift cards from many other vendors in the area.
