Families in Denmark will want to make a note on the calendar for next month, as a local farm is putting together an event to usher in the holiday spirit.
The Jingle Bells Pony Rides are preparing to welcome guests for a leisurely ride through scenic terrain in Maine, offering parents the chance to enjoy fun experiences and create new memories with their children. The annual event is returning, offering children the chance to get their photos taken with Santa himself.
The organizers are planning to work with Print shops to ensure that families receive the photos and Holiday Cards they want for the season in time to send them to loved ones and friends. The pony rides will last ten minutes, and the riders will be taken on a journey around one of the host farm’s largest fields.
All riders must be under 175 pounds for the safety of both the riders and the animals. Closed-toe shoes and a helmet, provided by the host farm, are required. Other features of the event will include a letter-writing station to Santa, face painting, and an area to shop for gifts for friends and family.
Foxx Run Farm, located at 1912 Pequawket Trail in nearby Hiram, will host the holiday celebration. It’s set for Saturday, November 29th, at 1:00 PM. Tickets are available online for $28.52 per pony ride.
