The Denmark Arts Center will be presenting Scintillating Shorts with Robert Libbey and Lynne McGhee.
This will be an evening of short plays and comedic scenes that is guaranteed to keep audiences laughing all evening. This performance is directed by Stan Burgoyne.
Local Print shops can help to promote such special performances with Flyers and mailers that can be sent to the community as well as those in the region.
Lynne McGhee is returning to the Denmark Arts Center. She has performed in her original shows, “Dead Girls: The Musical!” and “Back to the Drawing Board.” McGhee has performed with Portland Stage, Maine State Music Theater, and The Portland Symphony, and has written and produced her own theater and cabaret pieces.
Robert Libbey has been working in public policy and the arts as a Chief Financial Officer for the past 20 years. He spent many years as a television producer at Maine Public Television, for which he won many Emmy awards. He has also acted at Ten Bucks Theatre Company, Acadia Repertory Theatre, Penobscot Theatre, and Theatre at Monmouth.
Both Libbey and McGhee are graduates of the Theater Department at the University of Maine. The last time they performed together was at University of Maine—Orono in its production of “The Music Man.”
Scintillating Shorts will be from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday October 4. The price of a ticket is $15 for general admission.
