Boutique hotel to come to Denmark area

Justin McIver, a native of Bridgton and founder of Main Eco Homes, is building Hotel Bridgton in the area. It will mostly likely help tourism in the town and neighboring communities like Denmark.

The hotel is just off Main Street and next to Stevens Brook. It will be a four-season hotel offering golf, hiking, waterfront activities, and skiing all within easy access.

The hotel itself will span 42,296 square feet with 65 rooms and will be built with natural materials and sustainable construction practices. Details of the interior will be designed to create the feel of a retreat by the lake rather than a traditional hotel. McIver said that his vision for the hotel is to treat guests to what feels like a “home away from home”, while also boosting the regional economy.

Additional amenities of the hotel will include a fitness center, indoor heated pool, a bar and lounge, meeting and event space for up to 50 people and a grab-and-go food and beverage shop. There will be firepits, a patio and riverfront green, and space for lawn games outside. Brochure printing is an effective way to showcase the unique features and standout amenities of such hotels.

It is expected that the hotel will create 25 to 30 jobs. Olympia Hospitality, based in Portland, will manage the hotel once it opens, which is planned to be next summer.
