Music and arts festival to come to Denmark

The Denmark Arts Center (DAC) will be holding its Dam Jam Revival next month in Bicentennial Park.

This is an outdoor festival that offers activities for the entire family. There will be traditional craft artisans featuring luthier Alex Edney and wood products from Tear Cap Workshops, people walking on stilts, art for kids, and good music. There will also be a wide selection of food trucks that will include Wolfie’s Links from Bridgton, Terra Frima Food Truck, and Dragon Wagon Food Cart.

A highlight of the festival will be Jack Gentempo performing his original vaudeville acts. The kids area will have the Neveah Dance Circus with face-painting, a hula-hoop jam, and roaming artists and the Fantabulous ArtVan. Kids will be able to make spin art, design their own tee shirts, and make buttons.

The festival will be opened by the Pihcintu Multinational Chorus to be followed by Rachel Sumner & Traveling Light. The headliner for the festival will be The Wolff Sisters.

Poster printing can be used to promote such special festivals throughout a town and surrounding communities.

Supporters of the festival include Norway Savings Bank, the Maine Community Foundation, the Ham Charitable Foundation, the town of Denmark, and the Fryeburg Fire Department, among others.

The Dam Jam Revival will be held on Sunday August 1 from 3:00 to 8:30 p.m.
