The Denmark Arts Center will be holding a couple of special events this fall.
Barry Me a Little will be a tribute to Barry Manilow by John Waldie. Although Manilow is still touring at the age of 82, Waldie, who has entertained people with his tribute to Billy Joel, will now do the same for soft-rock icon Manilow. He promises to make his way through the repertoire of Manilow songs. This concert will be on Friday, September 19 at 7:00 pm. General admission tickets are $15.
There will be a FallFest Dinner and Silent Auction at Bicentennial Park in Denmark that will be a fundraiser for the Denmark Arts Center. This promises to be an evening of good food, friends, fun, music, and bidding on unique items at the silent auction. Music will be provided by the High Street Jazz Band. Tickets are $15 are people are encouraged to arrive early. This will be on Saturday, September 27 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Such unique events and their fundraising efforts can be promoted throughout a region with the help of Print shops, with poster printing being a particularly effective means.
