The Denmark Arts Center is hosting several events and performances next month.
Such activities are often promoted throughout a community with poster printing.
The first will be the Jolly Holiday Bazaar. Artisans and craftspeople from the local area will be sharing their creativity and their work throughout the year with the community and selling their handmade products. There will be something for everyone as well as some delicious and appealing treats, all of which are home-baked. This holiday bazaar will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday November 13.
Some of the best up and coming comedians in New England will be featured in Lakeside Laugh Labs for an entertaining evening. Among the comics will be Carolyn Rilet from Boston, Rachel Gendron from Maine, Liam McGurk, Mark Turcotte and Jake Jacobson, and Alex Giampapa. This special performance will be on Friday November 19 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. The price of a ticket is $15.
An unforgettable one-of-a-kind evening will be Cold, Cold Night Burlesque and Ragtime Rebellion, a line-up of talented vaudeville performers that includes physical-sketch comedy, jugglers, and comedians along with black and white talkies. Featured at this performance will be Ruby Romance, Billy Blaze, Lady Libra, and Miss Tempo among others. This will take place from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday November 20. Tickets are $25.
