The Fryeburg Fair will be held later this year. Residents of Denmark and surrounding communities in Maine and New Hampshire will want to attend this annual event.
Such communities can be informed of such fairs, their highlights, and their dates through banner printing.
The livestock shows will be one of the featured events at the fair. Among the livestock on display will be beef and dairy cattle, show and pulling draft horses, poultry, and sheep. There are also exhibitions of various kinds.
The Agricultural Exhibition will showcase local individuals and small farms to display their talents in home arts and crafts and gardening. The Farm Museum will have exhibits of the crafts and early industries of New England, including beekeeping, maple syrup and sugar production, and blacksmithing. The Specialty Foods Pavilion will provide a space where local can sell their specialty products derived from local agriculture.
There will be a grand parade on the Saturday of the fair in which all exhibitors and animals are encouraged to participate. Other favorite events will include a tractor pull, a pig and a calf scramble, and sheep dog trials. The fair will also feature live entertainment and a Midway with rides for people of all ages.
The Fryeburg Fair is the largest agricultural fair in the state of Maine. This year’s fair will be held from Sunday October 4 through Sunday October 11.
