The Denmark Art Center will be hosting two special events later this month.
Events such as these and others taking place at such centers often turn to poster printing to promote themselves.
The first is the opening of an artwork exhibit by Mary Bastoni, artist in residence. She works with many types of media, including watercolor, acrylics, pastels, and alcohol inks. She has spent the past few years developing her artistic skills, although she has a background in music and a masters in classical vocal performance.
Bastoni’s artwork is diverse and reflects her interests in nature and animals, capturing the mood of a moment, and plein air study.
Bastoni is also the founder of the summer musical theater camp program at the center and continues working with it to this day. The opening will take place from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, on Saturday, June 29.
Jonathan Sarty will also be coming to the Denmark Art Center for a special concert. Sarty is from New England and is an accomplished performer, recording artist, and songwriter whose repertoire covers a variety of music genres, as well as his own adaptations of classic hits in America and his own original music. He has performed throughout New England and elsewhere around the country for many decades.
His show will be from 7:00 to 8:30 pm, also on June 29.
