Camps to be offered by arts center in Denmark

The Denmark Arts Center will be holding several Kids Camps this month.

Such camps are often promoted throughout a region with various kinds of printing services.

The first will be a Puppet Camp with a Twist, which is held this week. This camp is for children eight years old and above who will learn a variety of skills in shadow puppetry while making their own characters and masks. The attendees will have a chance to showcase their masks before the Thursday afternoon performance at DeerTrees theater. The camp is from Wednesday, July 13 through Friday, July 15 from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

Also, a sensory Music Camp will be held for children in pre-kindergarten up to six years old. This camp will be run by Little Roots and will spend three days exploring and fostering social emotional and multisensory learning by engaging with musical instruments to enjoy simple rhymes, rhythms, and songs. This camp will be held on Tuesday, July 19 from 10:00 to 11:30 am.

There will also be a Musical Theatre Camp run by Mary Bastoni. It will be an intensive camp that will focus on the production of a show with music. The camp is for children between the ages of 9 and 15 years old and will run from Monday, July 25 through Friday, July 29 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The performance will be on Saturday, July 30 at noon.
