The Airstream Club International (ACI) Rally will be coming to the Fryeburg Fairgrounds this summer. This will be the first time that the club is visiting the state of Maine. Residents of nearby Denmark who are Airstream enthusiasts will not want to miss this special event.
The head of marketing for ACI, Kristy Yonyon, said that the goal of the rally is to enable people to use their Airstreams to learn more about this part of the country and to remain active. Yonyon added that applications are currently being accepted for vendors, presenters, speakers, and exhibitors.
General Superintendent of the Fryeburg Fair, David Andrews, expressed his excitement that Airstream chose the fairgrounds for this event. He said that about $2 million in revenue is expected to come to the area as a result of this event. He added that they are also working with the Mount Washing Valley Chamber of Commerce to also create some events focused on the local area. Such activities can benefit from various printing services to create materials on local attractions, which visitors can take away with them.
Attendees will begin to arrive Sunday July 17 and may stay until Sunday July 31. The rally will run from Saturday July 23 until Friday July 29. The public is invited to an open house from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday July 24.
